I had a client who had Gastrointestinal reflux disease. She had tried various things to feel better but couldn’t seek to kick her symptoms. We talked, and I followed the clues that she displayed – like a femmy cough after eating- and we narrowed the issue down to dairy, especially cheese – which she ate regularly. Upon initial discovery, she was surprised that the cause could be dairy. She had never really put the two together.
However, once we were sure that the cause was dairy, she was 100% on board to alter her diet to feel better. Most people fear change and don’t want to give up these delicious but harmful food groups like cheese and milk. She had no hangups with the diet change because she wanted to feel better. And so I coached her through the elimination, and she killed it! And I only heard back from her maybe three months ago. She sent me an email. She told me, “My Gastrointestinal reflux disease is gone. I’m feeling so good and just wanted to thank you.”
I love seeing these victories where a simple solution, strictly adhered to, makes a world of difference.
